Nightingale is an app that can make various types of poetry from tweets, both by keyword and from your own profile.
Why the name Nightingale?
The nightingale is most renowned for its most beautiful and powerful song and has also long been associated with poetry and poets. Therefore, we thought it was a perfect representation of this project. Also, Twitter and birds... you know!
Who are we?
We are Marcus Schimizzi and Justin Peek. We initially decided to develop Nightingale as a semester-long project for our CS course Social Sensing and Cyber-Physical Systems.
